I have a regular hummingbird at my feeder but it's taken a few days for him to get used to seeing me sitting and watching him, but tonight I managed to get a photo. A little later while I was on the patio I realized that I have 2 regulars as they buzzed above my head and amongst my flowers. I may be lucky enough to have a charm of hummingbirds soon and may need another feeder.

Had sushi for lunch at Sakura in Tyson's Corner. We were admiring the fabric ceiling but noticed it had been defaced by a sprinkler system.

I wonder if Dominion Power left this reminder of the storm on purpose when they replaced the cables. I have to drive under it twice a day, sure hope it doesn't drop on me!

Saw these wonderful guys restoring power in Marshall on the way home and rushed to Meadow House to see if the water had been restored. I turned on the tap and thought to myself, what a wonderful world.

Another storm has pulled down more tree limbs and once again we have no power. So reading by candlelight all about the Queen's Jubilee celebrations sent over by Mum.

I'm so pleased my Zinnias survived the storm. I love their vibrancy.

Yet another storm ripped through Marshall tonight with lots of thunder and sheet lightning.

The poor Silk Tree lost a couple of limbs and the neighbor's tractor has been working hard to clear the debris all around.
