Finished painting my wall and chair early, left it drying, managed to just barely miss the lane closures for roadworks on 66 and got home to see Kota give Rosie a kiss on the nose. What a splendid day!

Saturday 21st April

I was so excited to get my wall at the upcoming Artomatic show that I completely forgot to post a photo. So thanks to my No. 1 blog fan, Myra, for putting me straight. Here's my wall, soon to be painted and hung with my creations.

Got very excited at the paint store when I saw this. Thought I could have 361C as a paint color until I did some research. These are Pantone Textile colors, not the color swatch used by graphic designers, and also the colors ate not guaranteed, only inspired by Pantone. What a marketing con!

Spent an hour cleaning glass nuggets that I picked up a couple of weekends ago on a pathway. Now what to do with them...

We all stood outside at work and had the best view as they flew past 3 times. I pass this beautiful bank of flowers every day driving to work. I'm hoping something equally pretty will grow in its place as these blooms fade.
